Hong Kong French Toast

IngrediĆ«nten  

  • 3 slices bread milk bread or brioche bread
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 large eggs
  • condensed milk topping

Instructies 

  • Spread peanut butter on the slices:
    Both sides on 1 slice of bread and one side on 2 slices.
  • Use a sharp knife and slice off the crusts.
  • Beat the egg into a deep plate and whisk until well blended.
  • Drip the toasts into the beaten egg and make sure both sides and all edges are covered with the egg.
  • Add vegetable oil in a middle skillet/pan over medium heat. Gently place the toast on the skillet/pan and fry until golden brown (around 30 seconds). Use a tong and fry the edges for a few seconds.
  • Drizzle some condensed milk over the toast!

Notities

  1. Cut the bread in thick slices. This will give you the best result.
