Other than food, another topic that has been playing a big role in my life is mental health.

It is fearful to say it out loud, because mental health is deeply stigmatized in the Asian community.

I know many Asians (or Asians born abroad) experience the same as me. We simply never learned how to take care of ourselves mentally, because our parents don't think mental health is a thing.

Recently, I finally acknowledge that talking about my mental health isn't a sign of weakness. I needed to take care of myself more and facing my anxieties is the first step to feel better and happier.

With my 'feed your soul' blog, I want to help others that are coping with mental illness or anxieties by sharing my own experiences.
