Avocado salsa
Ha! Who doesn't like a nice salsa dip? It's always on our table whenever we have Mexican food. A dip that you cannot miss at parties too.
This creamy avocado chunks dip is easy to make in just 10 minutes. Refreshing and full of flavour. Pair it with your favourite Mexican taco's, tortilla's, nacho's, flautas, chili con/sin carne or even just on toast.
When I make avocado salsa, I'm not looking for a guac texture. I like the chunkiness and the bites to it.
Avocado Salsa
Ingrediënten
- 2 avocado
- 8 cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 red onion
- 2 tbsp cilantro
- 1/2 lime juice
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructies
- Cut the avocados in half. Remove the pit. Scoop the avocado out and cut in small pieces. Place it in a bowl. See note 1.
- Cut tomatoes and onion in small pieces. Finely chop cilantro and add it to the bowl.
- Add lime juice and salt & pepper to taste. Mix it gently. Taste and adjust if needed.
